How EMSYO is paid for
The EMSYO account is free. Actions with a variable external-provider cost are locked until the user has a subscription, one-time pass or enough purchased credits. The live interpreter is an active paid action: starting it reserves 35 credits for one session of up to 5 minutes, and once the provider session is created successfully the full block is settled even if the session is stopped early. LIVE voice is an active paid action: starting it reserves 10 credits for one session of up to 5 minutes, and once the connection is created the full block is settled even if the session is stopped early. EMSYO makes no unlimited-use promise.
Free
Free includes the account, settings, help and legal information, visibility of locked features, on-device camera preview/flip and presence, local coordinates, tuner, approximate noise meter, and local voice recording/download. It includes no AI or new cloud upload.
Auto-renewing subscriptions
Standard: €14.99/month or €149/year and 300 credits monthly; Plus: €24.99/month or €249/year and 750 monthly; Max: €39.99/month or €399/year and 1,200 monthly. Annual-plan credits are also allocated monthly and do not roll over.

One-time passes
1 day costs €2.99, lasts 24 hours and includes 50 credits. 7 days costs €7.99, lasts 168 hours and includes 180 credits. Time starts on payment confirmation. Passes are not subscriptions, do not renew and unused pass credits end with the pass. A pass cannot be bought during an active subscription; while a pass is active, neither another pass nor a subscription can be bought.

Credit order and exact action cost
- Included plan/pass credits are used first, then purchased credits.
- An action does not start without enough balance. An estimate may be reserved and reconciled.
- A started minute or character block rounds up; additional tools actually used in one request are charged together.

AR characters, games and stories
Emsyo, Bim the dwarf, Vexo the alien and Kiki the ninja squirrel can share one scene. Catalogue content and scene controls have separate pricing from AI, transcription and voice.

AR attempts are separate from the main chat, bound to the anonymous identity and browser identifier, and subject to shared daily trial capacity. The AR camera preview itself has no per-minute credit fee. Paid AI, analysis, transcription and voice have no additional daily product cap: sufficient credits are required. Limits on individual requests, sessions, request bursts, free trials and cloud storage still apply.
Longer text or a story is read in parts. The finished text shows its playback price; interrupting stops further parts being requested and you can resume from the saved position in this browser tab. Parts already sent may be charged. Audio of ordinary AI replies retained in this tab’s memory replays for 0 cr.; reloading may require new paid generation.
Five-minute LIVE voice and interpreter sessions are separate modes, not a time limit on normal story reading. AR requires a compatible browser and camera permission; voice input also needs the microphone. Watch your surroundings and use it in a safe place.
Rooms have no fixed player seat limit. A phone displays up to 12 other people's characters at once; availability and smoothness depend on the device and connection. Nearby room discovery is optional and uses approximate location. Invite codes work without location.
Credits and technical safeguards
Each camera or image analysis costs 3 credits. With enough credits you can continue without a daily analysis cap; a burst of requests may require a brief pause.
Paid actions require enough credits for the complete action and have no additional daily product cap. This applies to subscriptions, passes and purchased credits. A technical safeguard allows at most 60 new paid operations within a rolling 60-second window; if reached, wait briefly before trying again. Individual request limits, session duration and provider availability still apply. Free-trial and cloud-storage rules remain unchanged.
Cloud storage
Free has 0 uploads; Standard/pass 1 GiB, Plus 5 GiB and Max 15 GiB only while paid access is active. A credit pack permits 1 GiB for 30 days from purchase and only while a purchased credit remains; credits do not expire while the account exists. The exact authorized final in-flight result may save. After upload loss, read/download/delete lasts exactly 30 days; eligible new access before the deadline postpones permanent deletion. Media is served by an EMSYO proxy with a random five-minute token, never a Storage link in the browser; each GET/Range charges the full object size. Daily caps: Standard/pass/credits 200 MiB/50 requests, Plus 512 MiB/150, Max 1 GiB/300. File caps: Standard/pass/credits 500, Plus 2,500, Max 7,500. Access fails closed; owned-file deletion remains.
Renewal and plan changes
Subscriptions are charged in advance and renew until stopped. A plan or interval change is scheduled for the end of the already-paid period, with no extra interim charge. Settings shows the target plan and effective date.
A price change is not retrospective. Material future changes are communicated in advance and statutory termination rights remain.
Stop renewal
Renewal can be stopped or resumed in Settings. Stopping prevents future charges; access normally continues to paid period end. Payment methods and receipts are available through the Stripe portal.
Order and payment
Selection is not payment. Before confirmation we show the exact option, price, credits, duration/renewal and contract documents. The displayed EUR price is the final amount charged by EMSYO and includes any legally applicable tax. The contract forms after an order with an obligation to pay and successful Stripe payment. EMSYO does not receive the full card number; the issuer may separately charge its own fee or conversion rate.
Immediate supply and withdrawal
If you expressly request service during the 14-day withdrawal period, a proportionate amount for service actually supplied may be payable on withdrawal. For a service, the right may end only after full performance with prior express consent and acknowledgement. Online digital content has separate statutory requirements, including consent, acknowledgement and confirmation. Merely adding credits or activating a pass does not automatically end the right. Statutory remedies for faulty or missing supply remain unaffected. Withdrawal form.
